"In a world of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act" "There is only one fundamental right (all the others are its consequences or corollaries): A man's right to his own life. The Bill of Rights was not directed against private citizens, but against the government; as an explicit declaration that individual rights supercede any public or social power." “Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.” ![]()
I believe that the United States of America is the greatest nation on the face of the Earth, not because of its power and might, but because we have "The Declaration of Independence," and "The Constitution" with its "Bill of Rights" which recognize that a free people have certain unalienable rights, and additionally forbid the government from infringing upon those rights, something the government seems not to understand any longer. Let us never forget those who made this way of life possible: To name but a few, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Thomas Paine, Patrick Henry, Alexander Hamilton, George Mason, Richard Henry Lee, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Abigail Adams, Crispus Attucks, Paul Revere, John Paul Jones, Mary Hays McCauly, Samuel Adams, John Hancock, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Martin Luther King and all the other men and women, who, over the years did their part, even unto death, to make and keep this country free. For their sacrifices, and our future, we must preserve it. ![]() "You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for independence."
![]() As if this will come as a surprise to you, but there are people in positions of power today who would take away, not only our rights, but our means of remaining free (our guns). These people are violating the public trust, and the oath of office they took to protect the Constitution. There are various theories as to why they are doing this, but the "why?" of it, shouldn't be the issue. The simple fact that it is occuring should be enough to cause concern in anyone who cares to remain free. While I'm proud to be an old, white guy, neither of which I had any control over by the way, I'm not a racist, or a bigot. You won't find any hatred in these pages, anger yes and frustration, but not hatred, except perhaps, for those who would take away our freedoms and natural, God given rights, regardless of their race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Actually, natural, God given rights cannot be taken away except by God, or natural causes. They can however, be forcibly denied us by an oppressive and tyrannical government. No more is it acceptable to be the best. Striving to "be the best you can be," is a joke. Everyone is now expected to lower themselves to the lowest common denominator so that those who are incapable of competing, for what ever reason, will still be able to feel good about themselves. We have become a nation based on mediocrity. You see it everywhere; in the family, our education system, children's sports, on the job, the military, and sadly, even our national leadership. When our population is taught that being mediocre is O.K., can we as a nation be anything but mediocre on the world stage? If you're not concerned about the erosion of your guaranteed freedoms you should be. There have been attempts in Congress, by liberal factions, to eliminate some of your natural, God given rights. Major Owens (D N.Y.) actually introduced a bill to eliminate the entire Second Amendment. If that type of move against the Constitution were to come to fruition, the government would no longer be restrained from moving against any and all rights. The "Patriot Act" put in place by the George W. Bush administration, has shredded your Fourth Amendment rights to privacy and activist courts supporting the A.C.L.U. have done the same to your First Amendment rights. Your natural, God given rights are under attack each and every day by trial lawyers, the United Nations, the A.C.L.U., activist judges and believe it or not, the very people you have elected to office, people sworn to uphold the Constitution. If the courts and the people we elect, cannot be depended upon to support the Constitution and continue to strip away our rights with their liberal, globalist points of view, who can we trust? It will come down to, who it always comes down to, "we the people." When the people have had enough they will stand up and make their will known. Usually this comes too late and society as a whole will suffer, but my hope is that this time, the people will awaken from their lethargy in time to save this great nation, our Constituiton and our very way of life. ![]() READ CAREFULLY: ”The general misconception is that any statute passed by legislators bearing the appearance of law constitutes the law of the land. The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land, and any statute, to be valid, must be in agreement. It is impossible for both the Constitution and a law violating it to be valid; one must prevail. This is succinctly stated as follows: The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of its enactment, and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it. An unconstitutional law, in legal contemplation, is as inoperative as if it had never been passed. Such a statute leaves the question that it purports to settle just as it would be had the statute not been enacted.” “Since an unconstitutional law is void, the general principals follow that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection, and justifies no acts performed under it. A void act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitutional law cannot operate to supersede any existing valid law. Indeed, insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the land, it is superseded thereby. No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it.” ![]() ![]()
